Proverbs 15:6-7
6In the house of the righteous there is much treasure,
But in the revenue of the wicked is trouble.
7The lips of the wise disperse knowledge,
But the heart of the fool does not do so.
-Proverbs 15:6-7
The wealth of the righteous is in wisdom, and the revenue of the troubling revenue of the wicked is found in foolishness. The wise disperses the wealth that they possess, which is knowledge. While the wise disperses this from their lips, not even the heart does this to the fool. What should we make of this? The wise is overflowing with knowledge, ready to disperse, but the fool is so limited that not even the depth of them has any knowledge to offer. Let us grow in wisdom as we walk in righteousness that we too may overflow in it. May it be swift on our lips and resonate with our hearts.
