Proverbs 15:11
11Hell and Destruction are before the Lord;
So how much more the hearts of the sons of men.
-Proverbs 15:11
This is one of those verses that should invoke a measure of fear of the Lord into us. Do we understand what is before the Lord? His judgment is to be proclaimed. He will not hold out forever. There will be a time that we stand before Him. Despite our ability to be able to fool men and convince them that we are sincere, there is nothing we can hide from the Lord. Our very hearts are before Him. Let us not grow relaxed on tending to our hearts and being certain that we are aligned with the Lord on High. The Lord has given us His Spirit, and by His Spirit we can examine ourselves. Prayerfully do so this morning and commit your way to Him.
