Proverbs 12:23
23A prudent man conceals knowledge,
But the heart of fools proclaims foolishness.

Have you ever met someone that sounded a lot smarter when they didn't talk? The heart of fools proclaims foolishness. It is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks. As the fool's heart is filled with foolishness, so from their lips foolishness will prevail. A prudent man differs in many ways. Not only is wisdom filled in his heart, but wisdom also guides his actions. He conceals knowledge until a proper time to share it. Reserving speech for a proper time is a testament to self-control. With which your own heart overflows, so will it be in your words and actions. Govern yourself with wisdom. Invest yourself into the word of God that you may learn and grow in a proper way.
