Proverbs 12:28
28In the way of righteousness is life,
And in its pathway there is no death.
-Proverbs 12:28
As we have gone over the importance of diligence the past few days, let us focus upon the vitality of diligence in righteousness. The pathway of righteousness is life giving. It results in eternal life, quite literally. However, the way of wickedness leads to death and death lines its paths. I am sure we have all experienced the difference between walking a righteous path and wicked one. In the righteous, we find that we have peace, contentment in all things, and joy. In the wicked path, we chase after all those things but never seem to arrive. Be all the more diligent to walk in righteousness that you may experience its fruitfulness.
