Proverbs 19:20
20Listen to counsel and receive instruction,
That you may be wise in your latter days.

It is an absolute fact that we, by ourselves, do not have all the answers. We will not arrive at all the correct conclusions in isolation. Nor will we error to the side of wisdom if we do not heed counsel. It takes humility to do so, but it is better to take that moment of humility than to suffer a foolish life. Heeding the counsel of those who have gone before you is a much better way to make sure you continue a life of wisdom. Do not fall for the trap of having all the answers. Seek counsel and heed it.
