Psalm 107:4-7

4They wandered in the wilderness in a desolate way;
They found no city to dwell in.
5Hungry and thirsty,
Their soul fainted in them.
6Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
And He delivered them out of their distresses.
7And He led them forth by the right way,
That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.
-Psalm 107:4-7

I am no stranger to wilderness seasons. I can pretty much guarantee that all of us have frequented such seasons where we just feel as though we are wandering. We hunger and we thirst and we know that we are in need of the Lord. It is such a cause for joy in remembering the faithfulness of God. Cry out to Him! Cry out to the Lord your God! In the midst of your trouble, reach out for the Lord. See how He delivered Israel from their distress. When we are in those wilderness seasons, we need to be led and specifically by the Lord. He will lead you to a right way and into a place where you may abide. Dwell with Him and rest in Him. Praise the Lord!
