Proverbs 29:18
18Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint;
But happy is he who keeps the law.

As a people, we need guidance. Far too many have I had conversations with who do not view the gathering of the saints as essential and also neglect reading the word of God. Without these, how can they possibly know the benefit of truth? They are left to their own devices and trusting their own heart which is not the way of wisdom and is far from what Christ has set out for us. The one who upholds the word of truth may thrive. Let us hold fast to the revelation of the Lord and see what it is that He desires of us and for us. Delight yourself in Him and see how He delights Himself in you. Just as a wife seeks to come alongside and please her husband, may we learn to submit to and please our Lord Jesus Christ.
