Proverbs 30:10

10Do not malign a servant to his master,
Lest he curse you, and you be found guilty.
-Proverbs 30:10

As many of the proverbs have thus addressed, slander is a deadly poison. It is one of the favorites of the enemy to use for the destruction of the church. I have watched divisions take place and feuds begin due to slander. I have seen families fall apart and life long relationships come to an end due to this. I have seen the seeds of enmity sown in the hearts of believers all over due to slander. Fortunately, when slander is filled with lies, it enables truth to reign. Hold fast to truth and walk in the truth in love. Let the truth of God rule and reign in your hearts and give no place to the enemy in slander. Neither be one who slanders, nor listen to he who does. And if it is you who is slandered, hold fast to truth all the more. Take peace in the Lord and bring matters before Him. He will give you wisdom.
