Proverbs 30:1-3

The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, his utterance. This man declared to Ithiel—to Ithiel and Ucal:
2      Surely I am more stupid than any man,
And do not have the understanding of a man.
    3      I neither learned wisdom
Nor have knowledge of the Holy One.
-Proverbs 30:1-3

At the core of this is a very important lesson for us all. The greatest knowledge we can possess is that concerning the Lord. Is it not the duty of the servant to know his master? Or is it not the duty of the son to emulate his father? As we look unto the Lord and claim to belong to Him, our lives should look like His. We should be striving in our day to day to know who the Lord is and find ourselves delighting in Him. Lest, when we come to the end of our lives bearing all the knowledge of the things of this world, we too say that are more stupid than any man. You have an opportunity in this life to get to know the Lord in such a rich way. Do not delay it! Meet and commune with Him now.
