Psalm 118:5-6
5I called on the Lord in distress;
The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.
6The Lord is on my side;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?
-Psalm 118:5-6
Before we can claim that the Lord is on our side, we need to make sure of one thing. We need to make sure we are on His side. We must call upon the Lord! As we stand with Him, then we can say that we will not fear. Man can do nothing to us if our security is set fully upon the Lord. No comment, disrespect, disregard, or any such thing has any power over you if you are living entirely to the pleasure of God. May that be your life goal. Prayerfully seek within yourself whether you are living entirely for the Lord that you can confidently utter this Psalm. Seek the Lord with all your heart. Rejoice in His name.
