Psalm 128

1Blessed is every one who fears the Lord,
Who walks in His ways.
2When you eat the labor of your hands,
You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.
3Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine
In the very heart of your house,
Your children like olive plants
All around your table.
4Behold, thus shall the man be blessed
Who fears the Lord.
5The Lord bless you out of Zion,
And may you see the good of Jerusalem
All the days of your life.
6Yes, may you see your children’s children.
Peace be upon Israel!
-Psalm 128

What we see here is the result of fearing the Lord. I find it interesting that the fear of the Lord is tied very closely with walking in His ways. Obedience is a quick tell of whether or not you are walking in the fear of the Lord. The beautiful thing about walking in the fear of the Lord is that it doesn't mean we are cowering all the days of our life, but that blessing is promised to follow. This does not mean everything will go well and you will never suffer tribulation. It does promise, however, that we have the means to maintain joy continuously through all things. Walk in the fear of Lord and the comfort of the Holy Spirit as the disciples did in Acts. To that end, it will be well with you.
