Proverbs 10:22
22The blessing of the Lord makes one rich,
And He adds no sorrow with it.
-Proverbs 10:22
For every wicked means of attaining anything, sorrow is tied to it. In the pursuit of happiness, they run to temporary pleasures that reap the reward of wickedness. For monetary gain, there are those that then bear the consequences of greed. Yet, when one gains righteously, what sorrow is there to bear? If what you have is given by the Lord, there is only but to rejoice. Do not be so greedy that you pursue gain over righteousness. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Even though we live in a world that pressures all to walk by means of covetousness and greed, we can stand above and walk in righteousness above all. Perhaps in that, the Lord may bless you as He sees fit. Praise the Lord!
