Proverbs 10:26

26As vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes,
So is the lazy man to those who send him.

There is a lie that many of us have come to believe. It is that our actions only affect ourselves. This has been the unfortunate case for most decisions we make. The drunk thinks their drinking only impacts their own lives. The liar thinks they are protecting others or preserving themselves. The workaholic thinks it is them who is the only one taking the sacrifice. The lazy man believes it is only him who would have to pay the consequences for being lazy. The reality is, none of that is true.

Have you ever been impacted by someone else's sin? I am sure we can all say that we have. Let us escape the mindset that our decisions only impact ourselves. Walk out righteousness and be a blessing to those around you, not a hinderance.
