Proverbs 11:13
13A talebearer reveals secrets,
But he who is of a faithful spirit conceals a matter.

Gossip has become overwhelmingly acceptable among the body of Christ. It should not be difficult, but I have even found among believers that they have little to nothing to speak about if they are not gossiping about another individual. What is truly unfortunate is what that testifies of in the one doing the gossiping. Untrustworthy, lack of integrity, and divisive. Gossip is not something to play around with. Do not be a talebearer. Be someone who is trustworthy. Should someone share something with you, keep in mind that they made the choice to share that with you and not everyone else. Be of a faithful spirit and know when to conceal a matter.
