Proverbs 14:6
6A scoffer seeks wisdom and does not find it,
But knowledge is easy to him who understands.

Paths of sin do not lead to paths of righteousness. Paths of foolishness will not make one wise. I have heard from many peers the idea that it is hard to grow in wisdom if you do go out and do stupid things. That is absurd. Such mentality never produces wisdom. Those who are growing in understanding concerning the Lord, knowledge begins to come easier and easier. Much of our pursuit in the Lord should be for wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. For it is in these things that we learn and grow. Do not become passive in your pursuit of the Lord.
