Proverbs 14:25
25A true witness delivers souls,
But a deceitful witness speaks lies.
-Proverbs 14:25
When you have someone that has integrity in their speech, their words have value. When someone is always conjuring up stories and over-exaggerating, their witness holds less value. When someone is consistently spreading rumors or spreading lies, you tend to not trust them. But when someone who is trustworthy witnesses concerning someone, what they say holds weight. While one man may testify falsely, the one who speaks truth can set them free. Have integrity even in what you say. Speak the truth in love.
