Proverbs 14:28
28In a multitude of people is a king’s honor,
But in the lack of people is the downfall of a prince.
-Proverbs 14:28
Evidently we do not live in a generous of kings and queens, princes and princesses. However, we are not exactly far from it. The honor of a king is in a fullness of people. Our Lord is our King, and we seek to honor Him as such. The way in which we honor Him is in giving of ourselves in totality to Him, both individually and corporately. This is one of the significant things about the gathering of the saints. We are gathered together in multitude to give praise, glory, and honor to our King. I pray that we would learn to adopt this mindset that the gathering of the saints is not just for us. We are there to build one another up and to honor the Lord our God. May we honor our King in righteousness and unity.
