Proverbs 14:32
32The wicked is banished in his wickedness,
But the righteous has a refuge in his death.
-Proverbs 14:32
The life that we live now determines the outcome of our reward. The concept of reaping what you sow is a common theme throughout Scripture. If you practice wickedness, you will receive a just reward. Bear in mind, the One who judges your wickedness is entirely righteous. The wicked have no place with the Lord. As such, they are banished in what they have delighted themselves in. Likewise, the Lord delights Himself in those who have delighted themselves in Him. Rather than a banishment, there is a refuge provided. Praise the Lord that He has made us to be righteous! Praise the Lord that He still gives the reward even though we would not be righteous without Him. He is a good and just God.
