Proverbs 15:19

19The way of the lazy man is like a hedge of thorns,
But the way of the upright is a highway.
-Proverbs 15:19

We need to caution ourselves against laziness. Now I am not talking about taking time to rest, but when our lives revolve around slothfulness, it greatly impacts us. I have noticed patterns within my own life. When I am active, disciplined, and getting things done that need to be done, I also am more productive in Bible study and more conscientious of the Lord in prayer. We do ourselves a disservice when we think that our physical lives do not impact our spiritual lives. They are most definitely tied together. The lazy man will ever have thorns in his flesh and fail to progress. However, the upright with grow continuously. Be upright in your day to day conduct.
