Proverbs 17:15
15He who justifies the wicked, and he who condemns the just,
Both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord.

It has become a habit within our culture to identify the lesser or two evils. When we do so, we fail to consider how the Lord considers such a matter. One who justifies the wicked is just as much an abomination as the one who condemns the just. It is not that there is one greater than another, or an evil that is then lesser. The fact is that the Lord views both as an abomination. We see all over the news these days of wickedness being justified and justice being condemned. We have very real examples all around us. There is not one that is better than the other. Both are perversions of what the Lord established to be right. While we cannot fix the whole world ourselves, we can demonstrate righteous living. Justify the just and condemn wickedness. Walk as the Lord would have you walk. Conduct yourself in holiness before the Lord, not in the satisfaction of man.
