Proverbs 19:16
16He who keeps the commandment keeps his soul,
But he who is careless of his ways will die.

How many times are we called to take heed to ourselves and to be certain that we are really in this? It is of the highest priority for the believer to be sure that they are sincere in their faith. Walking in obedience to the Lord will maintain our soul. Anything that can be shaken will be shaken. If we hinge our lives in disobedience to the Lord, when everything is burned up, what will remain? Do not be careless in your ways. Be diligent in the Lord and walking in obedience to Him. Delight in Him with a whole heart and in full sincerity. Carelessness is a disastrous path that will leave you looking back wondering how you got to where you are. Take heed and walk in wisdom. Consider yourself prayerfully. Allow the Lord to perform the work in you that He desires.
