Proverbs 19:21
21There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.

Planning, like just about everything in life, needs to be done with humility. Making plans is not a problem. We should be good planners and be those who count the cost when it comes to making our plans. That being said, we must understand the reality that we are not in total control of those. It is the Lord's word that stands above all else. We may see a plan to be fit for us that the Lord has something different in mind for. So let us take our plans before the Lord and walk in humility to Him. Let us not be dismayed if our plans fall through. Instead let us trust the Lord.
