Proverbs 19:27
27Cease listening to instruction, my son,
And you will stray from the words of knowledge.

Far too many believe that they have arrived at all the knowledge they need to live a successful life. They stop heeding instruction. In ceasing such behavior, they open themselves to straying. When we do not listen to instruction, our own judgment becomes the guide by which we live our lives. I have never known anyone who did not get weird in their walk when they stepped away from others. This is one of the many reasons I think it so important to maintain regularly gathering with believers. Even if you are not constantly learning huge things, at the very least you are being kept. Heed instruction. Draw deeper into knowledge and understanding. Seek it out and it will be well with you.
