Proverbs 20:12
12The hearing ear and the seeing eye,
The Lord has made them both.

If you were to make something for another person, how would you like for them to treat it? The fact is that the Lord has made our eyes and ears and given them the abilities they possess. I think it is telling that the things that trip us most as believers are the things we listen to and the things we look at. These are the primary ways we take in information. What we hear and see has the greatest ability to influence us. We should be diligent in glorifying the Lord in this. Of course you cannot control all you hear and all you see, but for what you do have the ability, let it glorify the Lord.
