Proverbs 20:22

    22 Do not say, “I will recompense evil”;
    Wait for the LORD, and He will save you.

Vengeance stories are rather popular in modern media today. In fact, for just about all of human history, the revenge story has reached a certain level of popularity. There seems to be something in us that craves for justice to be had. Alongside that, there also seems to be a thought that we must be the ones to bring that justice. Many find themselves descending into a path where they take matters into their own hands. At the end of it, they find themselves unsatisfied. It may be the hardest place to find yourself when you are desiring justice, but you must wait upon the Lord. Do we think justice is out of His hands? Let us have faith and trust in the Lord that He will act in righteousness, just as He always has. He is faith and He is just.
