5 Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse;
He who guards his soul will be far from them.

It is the tactic of the enemy to utilize every means he can to trap us and keep us from the Lord. He does not care about physical harm or playing fair. His goal is to ruin you. When going to get fruit and those things that may nourish you, he will put every thorn in the way to keep you from reaching in and taking hold of that which the Lord has for you. For every step you take toward the Lord, the enemy is preparing a snare for you to walk into and take hold of you. Beware of these things. Guard your soul and keep yourself from these things. Be wise and circumspect for these days are evil. Grow in the Word and practice these things diligently.
