Proverbs 22:29
29Do you see a man who excels in his work?
He will stand before kings;
He will not stand before unknown men.

The man who excels in his work is one who is diligent and efficient in what he does. He is not just fast, but he does good work as well. Surely you can see how such a worker would attract the attention of those in higher places. We should seek to be this in our respective work places. We do not just want to be good, nor do we just want to be efficient. Most definitely, we do not want to be those that scrape by the bare minimum. I am convinced that Christians should be the best workers out there. We are not those who are simply working for man. Our work is unto the Lord. We do not cut corners or cheat our bosses, for the Lord sees all. Work unto Him and grow in your diligence and excellence in your work to Him.
