Proverbs 23:19-21

19Hear, my son, and be wise;
And guide your heart in the way.
20Do not mix with winebibbers,
Or with gluttonous eaters of meat;
21For the drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty,
And drowsiness will clothe a man with rags.
-Proverbs 23:19-21

Part of growing in wisdom is knowing who to invest your time with and who to not invest your time with. Those who walk in sinful paths and pursue after the things of this world and fleshly things should not be making it into your company. But those who fear the Lord and pursue Him should be those that are close to you. Bad company corrupts good morals. You can very quickly falter in sin if your company becomes those who indulge. If you are in a position where you cannot seem to find good company, pray and seek the Lord for it. He will provide. Consider the consequences of those who do good and those who do not. Ask yourself which you'd prefer to find yourself in. Surround yourself with those types.
