Proverbs 24:11-12

11Deliver those who are drawn toward death,
And hold back those stumbling to the slaughter.
12If you say, “Surely we did not know this,”
Does not He who weighs the hearts consider it?
He who keeps your soul, does He not know it?
And will He not render to each man according to his deeds?

It is the responsibility of the believer to watch out for those who are headed toward death. We must recognize that Scripture calls it sin when we know what we ought to do but do not do it. We will not fool God by saying, "I did not know!" The Lord has instructed us and made clear what His desire is for us to do. So as we neglect those that are headed down a road of destruction, how do you think the Lord considers it? We were not called to be a people that make others just feel comfortable in their sin, but instead to address it in a spirit of gentleness. Let us restore one another in righteousness.
