Psalm 106:4-5
4Remember me, O Lord, with the favor You have toward Your people.
Oh, visit me with Your salvation,
5That I may see the benefit of Your chosen ones,
That I may rejoice in the gladness of Your nation,
That I may glory with Your inheritance.

Hebrews testifies of all the writers and prophets that had their eyes set on the Lord's grand plan for His people. There was an earnest expectation eager to see what the Lord would do. The plan they were in search of is the revelation of Jesus the Messiah. This is the visitation of salvation. I marvel at the expectancy that these looked with. They longed to see this move of the Lord and excited to rejoice in it. We look back on that revelation and have every right and ability to rejoice as well. However, we also have something to look forward to expectantly. We have the Lord's return. Set your mind on things above! Look forward to Jesus coming back! Let us look with this same zeal toward what the Lord will yet do. Praise the Lord!
