Psalm 112:1
Praise the Lord!
Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
Who delights greatly in His commandments.
-Psalm 112:1
There is promised blessing in fearing the Lord. Most of us, at some point in our walk, have experienced that and are even experiencing that as we continue to walk in the fear of theLord ad the comfort of the Holy Spirit. However, this blessing is not isolated to the fear of the Lord, but also in the great delight of the commandments of the Lord. Do you delight in obedience? Do you delight in what He says? His commands are not burdensome, as Scripture clearly says. What burdens us is a lack of fear of the Lord and love for the things of this world. Do not delight in wickedness but in the Lord! Fear Him and rejoice in Him today.
