Proverbs 31:25

25      Strength and honor are her clothing;
    She shall rejoice in time to come.
-Proverbs 31:25

There is little to no doubt that as believers we indeed are clothed in strength and honor in the Lord. My mind immediately goes to Isaiah 40,

31      But those who wait on the LORD
    Shall renew their strength;
    They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
    They shall run and not be weary,
    They shall walk and not faint.
-Isaiah 40:31

We are renewed in our strength as we are waiting upon the Lord. For what cause are we waiting upon the Lord? We are yearning for His Day to come. This is the time that we ought to rejoice in. Just as we do not fear the snow and are clothed in scarlet (Prov. 31:21), we look forward to that judgment Day when Christ rules and reigns. See the attitude of the New Testament authors concerning this time to come.

2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.
-1 John 3:2-3

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
-1 Peter 1:3-5

54 So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

    55      “O  Death, where is your sting?
    O Hades, where is your victory?”

56 The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
-1 Cor. 15:54-58

Let us rejoice as we look forward to this day!
