Proverbs 24:28-29

    28      Do not be a witness against your neighbor without cause,
    For would you deceive with your lips?
    29      Do not say, “I will do to him just as he has done to me;
    I will render to the man according to his work.”

I find it amazing how quickly people will turn against one another simply by way of gossip. What astounds me even more is what people will make up about another individual that they simply do not like. Is this the love that we have been loved with? Absolutely not. The believer should exhibit proper justice and attitudes of righteousness. We should not seek just to do unto others as has done unto ourselves, but do unto others as we would have done to ourselves. Love with the love that Christ has given. Let us walk by truth and speak the truth in love.
