Proverbs 28:21
21To show partiality is not good,
Because for a piece of bread a man will transgress.
-Proverbs 28:21
It is an important distinction to make that partiality is not distinguishing between people, but rather showing favor to another for the sake of personal gain. To be partial to an individual on the basis of wealth or status is foolishness and is in direct opposition to the Lord. If this is an issue you struggle with, pray and seek that you would see others through the eyes of the Lord. For He shows no partiality. We must see that we are sufficiently taken care of in the Lord. We have all that we need and can be entirely satisfied in Him. There is nothing that any man can truly give to us that would be to great benefit. It is the Lord who provides. So let us love as He loves that we would walk among others in righteousness.
