Proverbs 28:6

6      Better is the poor who walks in his integrity
Than one perverse in his ways, though he be rich.
-Proverbs 28:6

The Proverbs regularly causes us to question that which we truly value. Are riches really worth compromise to you? Would you be willing to trade all of your riches if it meant really walking in righteousness and integrity? It is the cry of my heart that I would truly know and understand the value of righteousness and the value of virtues such as integrity. And I do not simply want to know about those. I want to experience the value of righteousness. I want to experience the value of integrity. I want to walk in such a way that the richness that I have is all found in Christ. Such should be the desire for every believer. Wealth, in it of itself, is not a bad thing. But wealth accumulated or accompanied by wickedness is disastrous. Walk in the integrity of the Lord.
