Proverbs 28:10
10Whoever causes the upright to go astray in an evil way,
He himself will fall into his own pit;
But the blameless will inherit good.
-Proverbs 28:10
It is one thing to walk in wickedness yourself, but to lead others astray and cause them to walk in wickedness as well is a whole different level of wicked. It is unfortunate that I have seen so many reinforce their own lifestyle of sin by encouraging others to join in it. It gives a sense of feeling like it cannot be that bad since others are doing it. It is essential for believers to understand that other people are not the standard for righteousness. The Lord is. Christ has established the model that we are supposed to follow. Do not be deceived by what others are doing, no matter how righteous you may view them. And do not deceive others into doing what you like to do. Let Jesus Christ be the standard for us all.
