Proverbs 25:1-2

These also are proverbs of Solomon which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied:
2It is the glory of God to conceal a matter,
But the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
-Proverbs 25:1-2

There is much about the Lord that we are left in mystery about. I do not believe that our finite minds with ever be able to fully comprehend an infinite God. Praise the Lord that He has chosen a way in which we can know Him. While His ways are so far above our ways and His thoughts so far above our thoughts, the Lord has made Himself known to His people through His word. The glory of the king is then to search these out. As heirs of the Lord and joint heirs with Christ, is it not our responsibility to seek out a matter? The Lord has concealed much that we may seek it out. So seek it out. Draw near to the Lord and seek to understand that which He has concealed. He will reveal Himself, and to those who seek to know, He will give knowledge.
