Proverbs 25:3
3As the heavens for height and the earth for depth,
So the heart of kings is unsearchable.
-Proverbs 25:3
It is easy to criticize a ruler from the position of one who is being ruled. It is easy for employees to critique the decisions of their bosses. However, once one gets into a more influential position, they begin to understand that there is a lot more to consider than just the state of one employee. Decisions are tough and often times we do not consider the full picture. Consider this with the Lord. As we discussed yesterday, His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Many in their ignorance make statements about how they would do things differently if they were God. We would judge people off of how "good" we see them. We would answer more prayer requests with a yes. We would give more of what people want. We position ourselves to think that we somehow understand something that God does not. Let us instead humble ourselves to the Lord and submit, knowing His ways are higher than ours! Sincerely trust in the Lord your God.
