Proverbs 25:8-10

8Do not go hastily to court;
For what will you do in the end,
When your neighbor has put you to shame?
9Debate your case with your neighbor,
And do not disclose the secret to another;
10Lest he who hears it expose your shame,
And your reputation be ruined.
-Proverbs 25:8-10

Conflict is a real thing. As people, we find that we butt heads with one another. The question is rarely whether or not there will be conflict, the question is how we will handle that conflict when it arises. Far too many will hastily start spreading their issues with one another to those that are entirely uninvolved. Let the conflict we have with one another first stay between those that are involved. Work out your issues with one another first. If it cannot be reconciled there, then start to get others involved, seeking ultimately to resolve and reconcile. Be wise in your conduct with one another and allow the Lord to be the center of it all.
