Proverbs 26:10
10The great God who formed everything
Gives the fool his hire and the transgressor his wages.
-Proverbs 26:10
It is a true statement that a worker is worthy of his wages. As such, the one who works foolishness will be rewarded with the wages of foolishness. As we know, foolishness is akin to wickedness. Wickedness is that which leads to death. We see a similar comparison in the fact that wisdom leads to life. It is a wise man who surrenders His life unto the Lord to gain that which he cannot lose. The fool seeks to keep that which is temporary and loses it all in the end. The Lord is a just judge of these things. Reader, I implore you not to be satisfied in your own wisdom and measure by your own rod. Continuously seek the wisdom that comes from above. Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought. Humble yourself before the Lord and be refined by Him. This will help keep you from foolishness. Surround yourself by wise individuals that will help you stay on track as well. By this, you will be secure in the wisdom from the Lord.
