Proverbs 26:27

    27      Whoever digs a pit will fall into it,
    And he who rolls a stone will have it roll back on him.
-Proverbs 26:27

This is a simple concept that we like to call, what goes around, comes around. We have our own ways of giving such statements. We will laugh at a husbands who makes a joke at the expense of his wife and try to "dig himself out of it." However, all of his effort leaves him deeper in the hole. The short of it is this - he who devises evil will often have his own plans come back on him. We will indeed reap what we sow. Why should we expect anything different than an apple tree from an apple seed? Why should we expect anything but death from wickedness? Let us be sure to sow in righteousness through the Spirit that we may instead reap life.
