Proverbs 27:2

2Let another man praise you, and not your own mouth;
A stranger, and not your own lips.
-Proverbs 27:2

I am sure we have all experienced someone who can go on and on about all of their accomplishments. You know just how great they are because they constantly tell you. This should not be the attitude of the believer. The fact remains that we are to live for the audience of One. What does it matter if you are found impressive among men? What does your boasting accomplish? It can only leave you wanting more because the approval of men does not give what are you truly looking for. Become a man or woman of great faith. Let your trust be put in the Lord. Let others give their own praise of you without your beckoning. Let your life live out the reality that you belong to the Lord. May you be found right in His sight.
